Two people have been charged with forgery and conspiracy to defraud an investor shares at Magnum Ventures Limited.
Subramanian Padmanbhan and Balaraman Anitha are accused that on or about 23rd day of March 2015, at unknown place within the Republic of Kenya, jointly conspired to defraud Niji Krishnankutty Pillai, of his Magnum Ventures shares by transferring one hundred ordinary shares to Padmanbhan.
The duo is also charged wih forging a notification of change of directors and an affidavit, purporting them to be a genuine documents from Pillai.
In addition, the accused persons are facing charges of fraudulently uttering the said forged documents.
It is alleged that the said offenses were committed on or about 23rd March 2025.
They denied the charges before Principal Magistrate Caroline Mugo and were released on a cash bail of Sh 100,000 each.
