An elderly woman from Kajiado County has been charged with conspiracy to defraud a land buyer Sh 1.8 million land
Elizabeth Musu Kangu is charged alongside one Noah ole Lemita Musul. The court heard that by deceit, the two conspired to defraud Simon Wachira Kamande Sh 1.8 million with intent to sell him LR. NO. Kajiado/lldamat/24047 located within Ildamat area of Kajiado County, a fact you knew to be false.
The duo is alleged to have committed the offense on diverse dates between 12th March and 1st July 2024 in Kajiado.
Kangu denied the charges before Principal Magistrate Daisy Mutai and was granted a bond of Sh 100,000 with alternative cash bail of Sh 50,000.
On the other hand, the court heard that Musul was arraigned in court prior, and charged.
The court heard that Musul is also charged with obtaining the said money from Kamande by pretending he could sell the said piece of land to him.
He was released on a cash bail of Sh 500,000. The case will be mentioned on 17th June 2026
