Bank Africa Ltd employee charged with stealing Sh 2.8M

An employee of Bank Africa Limited has been charged with stealing over Sh 2.8 million from his employer.

John Mbugua Mburu is accused of stealing the Sh 2,896,525.88, the property of Bank Africa between 13th January and 31st May 2022 at the bank’s head office in Nairobi.

Mburu denied the charges before Principal Magistrate Robison Ondieki and was granted Sh 200,000
