A man has been charged forging affidavits and other documents in Matatu sacco shares transfer.

Hanninton Baraza Wanjala is accused of unlawfully making an affidavit dated 24th March 2023 purporting to have been commissioned and signed by Robert Karanja Ngunu resigning from Trans Trum Travellers Limited and transferring his 100 shares to John Githinji Kamau of Latema travelers Bus & safaris Co.Limited.

Wanjala is alleged to have committed the offense on or before 24th March 2023 at unknown place and time within the Republic of Kenya, jointly with others not before court.

The accused person is also charged with making a resignation letter as a director/shareholder purporting to have been made and signed by Robert Karanja Ngunu transferring his hundred (100) shares to John Githinji Kamau of Trans Trum Travellers Limited.

Other charges include uttering the forged affidavits to the Business Registration Bureau purporting them to be genuine and forging minutes of the board of directors of Trans Trum Travelers Limited dated 22nd March 2023.

Wanjala is also said to have forged a resignation letter and notices of cessation of office of directors (CR9)
